Practice Directions
The Practice Directions provide a guide to the practices and procedures used in the making
of decisions in the Property Registration Authority. A number of the Practice
Directions have been fully revised and updated in recent years and this project will
continue over the coming years. In addition to the information provided under
Practice Directions, regular updates regarding new developments and practices
are also provided in the form of Legal Office Notices uploaded on the website.
The Practice Directions are for guidance only and should not be regarded as
legal interpretations. While reasonable care has been exercised in the compilation of
these Practice Directions there is no representation made as to their accuracy or
completeness. The use of any information in the Practice Directions, which
