landdirect.ie - successor to the EAS
landdirect.ie is the new generation of online services from the Land Registry which extends and replaces the award winning Electronic Access Service (EAS).
landdirect.ie enables account holders to avail of many of our services online, including:
• Search and locate property using our new digital map (*Available from 28th April 2006)
• Use an index of addresses to view a map and locate a folio (*Available from 28th April 2006)
• View & print folios• Conduct map searches• Obtain details of pending and completed applications. The system displays a summary set of details about the nature of applications pending, who lodged them, when they were lodged etc.
• Track the progress of applications through their lifecycle in the Land Registry
• Conduct names index searches
• Request official certified copy folios, title plans and title plans showing special features (appurtenant rights, rights of way etc.)
• Order official copies of Instruments. There are two methods of submitting applications for copy instruments. Click here for further details.
• Submit a Form 17 online and instantly receive the dealing number. The electronic Form 17 interacts dynamically with the Land Registry database which facilitates accurate completion of information and also calculates the fee payable. The form also allows customers to avail of the Safe Storage of Land Certificates service.
• Access all transactions conducted on their account and account balance. There are three levels of authorisation
Standard: Allows individual user access details of fee paying transaction conducted under their username and allows allows them to change password
View Balance : Same as standard, but with facility to view the current balance of the account and receive notification when balance falls below €50.
Account Administrator: All of the above, plus the facility to view the transaction of all authorised users on that account together with details of payments made into the account.
